    What is an endorsement?
    An endorsement means that we are confident that the candidate will represent our organization’s platform and program in the legislature if elected, or that the ballot measure meets one or more of our organizational objectives. An endorsement is passed by a majority of the membership at a chapter meeting

    we have ENDORSED in two races:

    State Representative LD24 position 2: Nemo Callaway

    Jefferson County Proposition 1 – Parks and Recreation Levy: Approve

    What is a recommendation?
    A recommendation means that, after a review, the indicated candidate is the best option from among the individuals listed on the ballot. We have recommendations for every contested race.

    Federal races:
    Federal Representative CD 6: recommended candidate – Macy Jones
    – We note that the incumbent Emily Randall has taken money from AIPAC-affiliated organizations; notably J-Street, an explicitly pro-Israel PAC

    State positions:
    State Representative LD24
    Position 1: Recommended – Adam Bernbaum
    Position 2: ENDORSED – Nemo Callaway
    – We note that Marcia Kelbon (no party preference listed) is a republican.

    State Supreme Court
    Position 1: recommended – Colleen Melody
    Position 3: recommended – Jaime Hawk
    Position 5: recommended – Sharonda Amamilo
    Position 7: recommended – Debra Stephens

    Clallam county:
    Commissioner District 3: recommended – Mike French
    – We note that Jake Seegers (independent) is a MAGA republican candidate

    PUD District 2 – Randy Brackett

    Fire District 2 EMS levy – recommend yes

    Jefferson County:
    Commissioner District 3: co-recommend Christopher Hannon and Anji Scalf

    Proposition 1 (parks and rec levy): ENDORSE approved
    Quilcene fire/EMS levy: recommend approved
    Brinnon fire levy lid lift: recommend approved
    Brinnon EMS levy lid lift: recommend approved
    Quilcene cemetery levy: recommend approved
